TEAM Latinissimo

Having represented New Zealand at no less than 6 international events, it makes TEAM Latinissimo the most well traveled, experienced and most popular STUDENT salsa dance team in Auckland.
Already from the very first team back in 2006, it was a huge success. TEAM Latinissimo was the first team consisting purely of students to represent Auckland at an international salsa event, plus also being the only student team to represent NZ at the World Salsa Championships.
TEAM Latinissimo students are directed, choreographed and lead by Giancarlo and Masha – New Zealand’s leading salsa dance professionals. The student team has gained recognition not only nationally, but internationally as well, mainly by placing 2nd - amongst professional salsa teams from all over Australasia - at the 2009 Asia Salsa Open Championships in Hong Kong. They are the first, and only salsa team in New Zealand ever to get a placing at an international salsa competition. Most recently, they represented NZ at the 2009 Melbourne Latin Festival, 2009 Brisbane Salsa Congress and got featured in the July issue of DANZ magazine as the most successful salsa dance team in the country.
Today, TEAM Latinissimo has grown to its “seams” and features 20+ dancers in the group.
Make sure to catch their new showpiece routine coming very soon!
As always, "THEY will be ready - will you..?"
